Welcome to Hallelumpia, where the heart of Filipino flavors meets the artistry of a self-taught chef! My name is Lea Corona, and I am a 34-year-old business owner, proud mother of two, and the creative force behind this culinary adventure.
I was born in the Philippines and learned cooking from my mother, who was a skilled chef & entrepreneur herself. I immersed myself in her time-honored recipes and added my unique touch to turn traditional dishes into something truly special.
My culinary journey began over a decade ago when I entered the world of professional cooking. I wanted to share my love for Filipino cuisine with the world, and so I started Hallelumpia Co, my catering company.
Here, I could pursue my passion for cooking and showcase the rich tapestry of flavors that define Filipino gastronomy. I discovered my love for cooking in my early 20s while preparing meals for family and friends. It was during these intimate gatherings that I realized the power of food to bring people together, create memories, and evoke a sense of warmth and happiness. As the name suggests, lumpia holds a special place in my heart. It's no secret that it's my #1 passion. The delicate art of crafting these Filipino spring rolls has become a signature of Hallelumpia, delighting taste buds and capturing the essence of Filipino culinary heritage.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in the catering industry and catering for people from all walks of life. These experiences have not only sharpened my culinary skills but also allowed me to share the beauty of Filipino cuisine with a diverse audience.
At Hallelumpia, each dish is a labor of love, a blend of tradition and innovation that reflects my journey as a chef, mother, and entrepreneur. I invite you to join me on this culinary adventure, where every bite tells a story, and every event is an opportunity to create unforgettable moments through the magic of Filipino flavors.
